Have you ever wanted to be a pirate, Musketeer, Jedi Knight or a Hero of Old?

Do you like the exciting fight sequences on the big screen?
Swordplay offers you an opportunity to experience "behind the scenes" and learn the stage combat techniques that are used in the theatre and film industry.

We are a professional theatrical fencing and stage combat troupe based in Campbelltown with a variety of skill levels, ranging from beginners to the performance troupe.

Are you looking for a new interest to enhance your personal fitness or meet like minded people? Or perhaps you are looking at challenging yourself by progressing through the ranks and participating in performances. Swordplay offers a variety of levels to participate in and welcome new students anytime of the year.

All weapons used are not edged and are used along side with drama/acting techniques.

Swordplay's motto is "Informed to Perform"

Swordplay is about:

- Equipping people with knowledge about stage combat and theatre skills.

- Learning the safety aspects while working with weapons and people including spatial awareness.

- Having fun with others, building trust, co-operation and expanding your imagination.

- An experience in creating choreographed sword fights while students study the different styles and techniques of historical fencing masters

- Developing an appreciation of mental alertness and fitness needed to perform.

- This is great for actors as part of their "actor tool kit"

- Students work towards public performances throughout the year.
